I would like to thank you for visiting my website and I hope you enjoy my photographs and take a moment to sign my guestbook at the link below. My interest in photography began at a young age, no doubt fueled by my father’s passion for the subject. I am constantly amazed by the beauty and power of the world around us and strive to capture this natural splendor.
The majority of my photographs are taken in the Western United States, primarily in Arizona. My other photography interests focus around capturing the emotion and action around me. This could be on a football field or a gathering among friends; I want my pictures to evoke emotion.
My work has been published in Rocky Mountain Game and Fish Magazine, Astronomy Magazine, and Fire Management Today to name a few. My fire responsibilities have taken me across the United States as a member of one of the Southwest’s Incident Management Teams. I enjoy being able to share an insider’s perspective on incident management. My day job finds me working in Sedona as a Battalion Chief/Paramedic.
I also enjoy woodworking and see similarities between the two pastimes. In both cases the raw material is available to anyone, what sets you apart is your ability to imagine, and then achieve, the final outcome by manipulating either wood or light.
